Our client is a pioneer and leader in the Engineering Software industry, is seeking a highly motivated candidate for their sales team.

This territory is a top producing one and includes large, existing accounts in the "grain belt" region of the US. Territory has produced $5M in recent years. Territory will include Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Kansas and surrounding areas.

Computer-Aided Engineering software is growing at a phenomenal rate. An industry research firm estimates CAE spending Is about 25% of total spending for the PLM market, growing faster than CAD sales.

Our client backs up this fantastic growth with one of the richest compensation packages in the industry!

The ideal candidate will have experience selling software to manufacturers. You will be responsible for following up leads from Marketing and Inside Sales, prospecting and penetrating accounts, hosting demand generation workshops supported by the company, supporting trade shows and most importantly, achieving sales targets and strategic goals. You will also be responsible for managing an installed base of accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and the renewal and growth of those contracts.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, time management and sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales goals. US citizenship is preferred, as some accounts will more easily be supported as a result. Office location offers a complete staff of application engineers and technical consultants to support your sales efforts.

--Competency with standard business software programs and CRM systems.
--Ability to travel within the NY Metro Area in order to maximize on-site presence with new prospects and existing customers.
