Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-- Pair up with the recently positioned sales staff in the Rocky Mountain sub-region and also extend help to the California, Pacific Northwest and BC Canada sub-regions occasionally.
-- Work collaboratively with sales for software prospects and customers to ensure their successful adoption of firm's products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate opportunities to expand software licenses
-- Contribute routinely in reactive customer support especially during the non-overlapping hours with the eastern time zone
-- Contribute advanced technical guidance on multi-disciplinary applications
-- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers
-- Assist Sales and Marketing units in sales campaigns and strategic market development
-- Guide in-house efforts in expanding customer accounts
-- Use services to promote new software license sales and expansions
-- Develop and execute local training arrangements in collaboration with Training and Sales teams
-- Follow procedures, track and organize project information to realize sustained growth in process efficiency
-- Other job related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time
Minimum Requirements:
-- Ph.D in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field with relevant industrial experience
-- Established expertise in the domain of computational fluid dynamics
-- Demonstrated experience of in-depth use of FLUENT and/or CFX for 3+ years
-- Must display ability to work independently, as well as with others in a geographically diverse team environment
-- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers
-- Available for consistent travel throughout the Western region, and as needed and in conjunction with the sales efforts of Account Managers in the region
-- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to create engineering solutions to customer problems
-- Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting successful proposals for services and business development
Preferred Requirements:
-- U.S Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is preferred due to access restrictions at customer and prospect sites
-- Experience using software for multi-disciplinary simulation
-- Knowledge of other commercial CAE software packages
-- Experience in the use of CAD Packages (such as Solidworks, Pro/Engineer)
-- Programming experience (C, C++, FORTRAN, Java, Jscript)
