Application Engineer - CFD - Mountain States - Job #5119

The Senior Application Engineer will proactively consult with customers, playing a lead role in supporting important initiative in territory development, along with significant impact on revenues for software at new and existing customer bases. ÊThe selected candidate should be well versed in Multiphase Flow and Chemical Reactions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-- Pair up with the recently positioned sales staff in the Rocky Mountain sub-region and also extend help to the California, Pacific Northwest and BC Canada sub-regions occasionally.
-- Work collaboratively with sales for software prospects and customers to ensure their successful adoption of firm's products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate opportunities to expand software licenses
-- Contribute routinely in reactive customer support especially during the non-overlapping hours with the eastern time zone
-- Contribute advanced technical guidance on multi-disciplinary applications
-- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers
-- Assist Sales and Marketing units in sales campaigns and strategic market development
-- Guide in-house efforts in expanding customer accounts
-- Use services to promote new software license sales and expansions
-- Develop and execute local training arrangements in collaboration with Training and Sales teams
-- Follow procedures, track and organize project information to realize sustained growth in process efficiency
-- Other job related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

Minimum Requirements:
-- Ph.D in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field with relevant industrial experience
-- Established expertise in the domain of computational fluid dynamics
-- Demonstrated experience of in-depth use of FLUENT and/or CFX for 3+ years
-- Must display ability to work independently, as well as with others in a geographically diverse team environment
-- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers
-- Available for consistent travel throughout the Western region, and as needed and in conjunction with the sales efforts of Account Managers in the region
-- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to create engineering solutions to customer problems
-- Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting successful proposals for services and business development

Preferred Requirements:
-- U.S Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is preferred due to access restrictions at customer and prospect sites
-- Experience using software for multi-disciplinary simulation
-- Knowledge of other commercial CAE software packages
-- Experience in the use of CAD Packages (such as Solidworks, Pro/Engineer)
-- Programming experience (C, C++, FORTRAN, Java, Jscript)

Territory Manager - South - Job #5118

Sales Representative

Develop Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Alabama & Florida territory for Southern States-based firm. Protected territory with existing account relationships in more than 200 local companies. Must have solid experience with a "living" ROLODEX of medium to large manufacturing firms in the Texas/Southwest region. Sales will include capital equipment and related software for companies manufacturing a wide range of products.

You should have strong experience and understanding of the process of moving manufactured products from conceptual design to manufacturability with a clear understanding of how 3D design relates to tooling and mold-making.

Generous base salary and aggressive accelerated commissions.

Role

The Sales Representative will provide sales expertise while building the customer relationship, helping identifying prospects, qualifying prospects, analyzing prospect needs, perform demonstrations, develop proposals, and close profitable sales. The Sales Representative will have primary responsibility for the firm's products and services and will report to the VP Sales.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer facing skills, combined with a strong sales background, demonstration skills, and technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry. Requirements

Proven Sales track record
5+ years experience in territorial sales
Experience selling high-ticket systems with typical sales price >$100K
Strong manufacturing Industry experience
Experience in one or more of the following products/services:
CAD, CAM, CAE or Simulation Software
Conceptual design engineering
Toolmaking, moldmaking, or other plastics-related technology
Machine tools, capital equipment, or high-end printing systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of developing and delivering world class demonstrations
Commitment to personal excellence, self-motivated, self-sufficient and resourceful
Ability to balance multiple priorities i involving multiple stakeholders
A team player with a Òcan doÓ attitude, strong customer service orientation
Capable problem solver that develops effective solutions for complex problems
BachelorÕs Degree preferred
