District Sales Manager
Manage a team of 5+ sales representatives in the 11 Western states.
Global engineering software company is recruiting a seasoned, knowledgeable Sales Manager of technical software.
Sales responsibilities include managing the sales team in the Western region. Focus on developing mutually beneficial business relationships with the identified accounts in the territory resulting in opportunities for firm's. solutions. Sales responsibilities shall include managing sales programs for expanding customers, capturing new name business opportunities, managing relationships with existing accounts, and expanding revenue goals within the assigned territory as well as driving new market share. Managing existing sales team; new rep recruitment; and training and coordination of technical resources is critical to success.
-- Qualified candidates must have a proven successful track record of sales management experience within the software industry.
-- 3+ years sales management experience in selling enterprise wide manufacturing-oriented solutions.
-- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent preferred, MBA desirable
-- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospective customer through the use of various prospecting techniques as well as maintaining relationships with customers.
-- Superior written communication skills.
-- Strong teach, coach and motivate skills
-- Superior interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
-- Proven track record of managing sales teams using a consultative sales process, and demonstrated ability to drive over $10M in sales.
-- Experience calling on "C" level executives and other senior management.
-- Familiarity and established relationships with accounts in the territory desirable.
