Responsibilities

The lead technical person who will work with our analysis partners during sales engagements which involve our client's CAE integration strategy.
Work with our client's partners on the development and presentation of joint product demonstrations.
Assistance with development of marketing collateral for solutions which include analysis.
Education of technical consulting and account management teams on structural analysis of composites and large aerostructure assemblies.
Business development meetings/client calls which present analysis as part of the overall solution.
Development of a product demonstration which effectively shows the strength of products when linked to CAE applications.
Assist in product requirements gathering and product definitions.
Requirements:

BS, 4-year degree in engineering. Masters degree is preferable.
Strong pre-and post sales experience in the sale of structural analysis or CAE applications.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Experience in the use of a high-end CAD/CAE system, such as Catia, Unigraphics or Pro/ENGINEER.
The ability to easily travel worldwide approximately 30% of the time.

Western Region Sales Director

Our client is an established and growing software company developing new products that fill a vital need in the area of ERP, PDM and CAD system integration. The products are transforming the way companies work in exchanging information within multiÐCAD and EDM system environments by enriching product data definition and linking the various software tools for PDM, ERP and CAD. We are actively seeking a sales professional to help us capture our rapidly expanding opportunities in the aerospace, automotive, high tech, medical and other industries.

This position will be responsible for managing 30-40 active accounts at various stages of progression within the sales cycle in a rapidly expanding market. They will also work closely with current customer management and engineers to maintain support revenue and increase repeat sales. This position will be responsible for new business development by making on-site visits to potential customers from the individual contributor to executive level within major corporations.

Responsibilities:
Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
Prospect and working customers on the phone to qualify and target accounts
Manage 30-40 active accounts at various stages of progression within the sales cycle
Territory includes missionary sales, repeat sales to existing customers, and highly competitive benchmarks
Possess a successful track record with missionary sales for new innovated products
Make on-site visits to potential customers from the individual contributor to executive level within major corporations
Manage and coordinating sales and technical resources during benchmarks
Work closely with current customer engineers and management to maintain support revenue and increase repeat sales
Provide significant portion of revenue to overall company sales target as part of a small effective sales force

Requirements:
Must be highly motivated, persistent and a self starter
Must possess at least 5-year successful track record (exceeding quota, president's club, etc.)
Must have At least 5 years' of one or more of the following:
Selling PLM Enterprise solutions at the executive level of major aerospace and automotive corporations
Selling CAD or engineering software at the Vice President level of major US corporations
Selling products to aerospace/automotive or other engineering disciplines
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Highly organized and able to coordinate 30-40 individual sale efforts
Work independently and as part of a sales team
Adept at coordination of technical as well as sales resources
Clear understanding of technical engineering design and manufacturing situations
Understand and communicate pertinent highly technical customer issues and objections to sales team
Adjust comfortably with a small company environment (responsibilities, resources, freedom)
Open to travel at times of up to 50%

Tyco has offices in Harrisburg, Pa and offices worldwide.
