Technical Consultant, Structural Analysis

Our client is a US-based engineering software company that is experiencing rapid growth around the globe. They work closely with industry leaders in aerospace, automotive, and industrial equipment markets to help them solve their most complex product design and manufacturing challenges. We are seeking a Technical Consultant who will work with our customers to integrate CAE processes and tools into their engineering software in both a pre-sales and post-sales consulting role. This position is based in Massachusetts Client engagements will be worldwide.

This is a hands-on position that is customer-oriented and has varied responsibilities.

Responsibilities

The lead technical person who will work with our analysis partners during sales engagements which involve our client's CAE integration strategy.
Work with our client's partners on the development and presentation of joint product demonstrations.
Assistance with development of marketing collateral for solutions which include analysis.
Education of technical consulting and account management teams on structural analysis of composites and large aerostructure assemblies.
Business development meetings/client calls which present analysis as part of the overall solution.
Development of a product demonstration which effectively shows the strength of products when linked to CAE applications.
Assist in product requirements gathering and product definitions.
Requirements:

BS, 4-year degree in engineering. Masters degree is preferable.
Strong pre-and post sales experience in the sale of structural analysis or CAE applications.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Experience in the use of a high-end CAD/CAE system, such as Catia, Unigraphics or Pro/ENGINEER.
The ability to easily travel worldwide approximately 30% of the time.
Desirables:

Experience in the analysis of composites and large aerostructures assemblies is a plus.
Experience in the design and analysis of composite wind blades and/or naval structures.
