Sales Representative

Develop territory for sale of top CAD software. Protected territory with existing account relationships in more than 190 local companies.

Must have solid experience with small to medium-sized manufacturing firms in the New England region. Sales will include software and services for manufacturers in CT and surrounding states.

You should have strong experience and understanding of the process of conceptual design to manufacturability with a clear understanding of how 3D design systems can yield a significant return-on-investment

Generous base salary and aggressive accelerated commissions. Excellent benefits package including 401-K plan.

Role

The Sales Representative will provide sales expertise while building the customer relationship, helping identifying prospects, qualifying prospects, analyzing prospect needs, perform demonstrations, develop proposals, and close profitable sales. The Sales Representative will have primary responsibility for the firm's products and services and will report to the President.

Fully supported sales job with dedicated Application Engineer.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer facing skills, combined with a strong sales background, demonstration skills, and technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry. Applicants must thrive in a high pressure, competitive and dynamic environment with an overwhelming drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify prospects for firm's software products
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
Achieve expert level knowledge and understanding of firm's solutions
Gather and analyze customer requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
Develop territorial management plans
Keep track of sales activities with Salesforce.com
Develop and deliver custom demonstrations (on-site and remote)
Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and implementation plans
Represent firm at trade shows and other industry events
Work with internal stakeholders to answer/resolve any questions/issues
Partner with Application Engineer
Interface with other sales members selling complimentary

Requirements

Proven Sales track record
5+ years experience in territorial sales
Experience selling CAD/CAM/CAE, Graphics Hardware, or other related products and services to New England-based manufacturers.
Strong manufacturing Industry ROLODEX
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of developing and delivering world class demonstrations
Commitment to personal excellence, self-motivated, self-sufficient and resourceful
Ability to balance multiple priorities i involving multiple stakeholders
A team player with a can-do attitude, strong customer service orientation
Capable problem solver that develops effective solutions for complex problems
Bachelor's Degree preferred
No more than three jobs in eight years.
